Another reason to cancel ATG membership. Paying fifty quid a year, but they open a presale to everybody!

Another reason to cancel ATG membership. Paying fifty quid a year, but they open a presale to everybody! They did the same with Sunset Boulevard - member presale went live at the same time as everyone who'd signed up for the production's presale. It really ought to be 10am for ATG+ then midday for the production presale perhaps. The demand wasn't anywhere near as high for Sunset, so it was less of an issue, but for Plaza, I totally agree it's unfair paying members are having to join a queue full of those who just signed up for an email.

Just came out of queue (was about 4000)..went back in again vai email link..no queue . Straight to date ..seat plan etc and booked... That's because they had already reached that queue position, and your queue id was held in cookies. The queue was 9,700 at 10:03 and that position is down to 4,200 now (11:13), so the first 5,500 places have passed. Right now, the back of the queue has 15,000+ in front.

That's so annoying. Tried on another device - didn't work for me! Well done though.

Agreed. This ridiculous system is so annoying; was waiting for a pop-up link after the countdown but nothing. 8000 ahead of me apparently. Who knew this or they were so popular? What?! This will be a complete sell out before it opens. SJP is hugely popular- and famous. I got in first thing and it was very quick and easy. Now however , the queue is 15,000 !

Although what seats and in which location they are is anyone's guess as for neither Sunset nor Plaza did I see anything marked as specifically for ATG+ members.

That counts for absolutely nothing when non members are getting tickets before paying members. It's obscene to charge people for benefits they aren't even getting.

That is indeed strange. It sounds like they temporarily deactivated the Queue-Id system and you got in during that window. ATG's software and IT management are dreadful generally. I got in after 102 minutes. Managed to find two good seats at £90 for front stalls central for a midweek in March. I thought it odd that two adjacent seats were still available in such a prime location, and weirdly, when you filtered to show only seats for "£140 (package)", these two were the only ones highlighted. But the system proceeded to offer them for the correct price of £90, so I booked them, but it then failed at the payment stage, so I had to start all over again and try a different date. Honestly, if there was an Olivier for most inept theatre operator, ATG would win it every year.

I didn’t get a link and didn’t realise they’d gone out so had to email ATG and joined the queue at 15000.

Booked two upper circle £25 seats as I'd just like to see SJP.
don't really care about the play but don't like missing out so thought I'd give it a whirl.
Loads of availability though for most shows

I logged in just after 10am and was approx 4000 in the queue. When it got down to 307 and a 2 min wait, the queue was paused for about 15 mins. Got in at about 11:05 and bought row W in the stalls.

Loads of availability though for most shows Well, this is it! I get that people like SJP and all that but it wasn't until the tweet yesterday from Arthur in ATG, God bless him, which was designed to whip up the biggest FOMO ever, that I thought maybe I should book this after all!

I know people who saw it on Broadway and they were like...it's fine.
But she's fun, an the audience will be fun, so I thought why not!

I'm sure it'll be a decent funny night out for the January blues. I still think a star studded revival of The Odd Couple would sell out here.

I purchased two £35 seats at the front of the grand circle for March and it seemed to claim that I was receiving a £20 discount on each of them?! I'm not sure if that is supposedly some kind of member benefit? It will be interesting to see if the price is the same when they go on general sale!

Will this actually be any good? Broadway reviews were mixed, but that didn't hurt ticket sales. I gave it a B+ overall. Good, not great, and I certainly wouldn't pay top dollar unless I was a huge SJP fan and even then, it might give me pause.

It was…. Fine. I’ve felt no rush to book tickets here and may not go again if I’m not lucky with rush/lottery etc.

Just looked. There must be a mistake, surely… I know ATG are normally bad with price-gouging, but they’ve hit a new low with some of the tickets being priced at £3000.

Yep - I just looked too - definitely £3,000.00 !!! It must be a mistake as they were £300 earlier. The performance I looked at (Sat matinee in March) actually had them next to a better seat that was £2,700 cheaper - front row of the dress circle. The centre ones were £300, then off to each side they were £3,000. Unreal!

Do you get to meet SJP for that? I hope so for anyone stupid enough to pay it.

Looks like they’ve been removed now. They weren’t even packaged with any of that Ambassador Lounge rubbish. Just a normal seat.
Now the highest price is “only” £395.
Not that it matters as I won’t be booking until I get paid next week and it’ll probably be sold out by then.

Looking at the availability this morning I don't think you need to worry about it being sold out by next week. Joined the queue around 10:15 to look for tickets for friends. Wait was maybe 5 minutes and there were tons of seats available for the dates in early March I was looking at. However the price jump from yesterday is big in places. Stalls seats I had seen for I believe £140 are now £200 for the same dates, although the grand circle is unchanged from what I remember. I didn't check the rest to compare to be honest. Figured since the initial rush was over they're free now to just keep an eye on how it sells and/or wait for offers in the future.

I booked a seat this morning around 8am for £100. When I looked out of interest a few minutes ago, I would now have paid £125.

Interesting that worse seats than I bought yesterday, are now on at more than I paid for my better seat.

I booked stalls row A yesterday for £90 - checking just now it's gone up to £125! Classic ATG, and so greedy. On the plus side, there's no queue now and still lots available.

Would like to see this but not sure about shelling out on the current ticket prices.
I felt the same about The Pillowman and managed to get a £125 for £25 on the day so hoping to take advantage of dynamic pricing on the day for this too.
