Absolute debacle. I got all the way through, filled out my claim form, hit send then got thrown out. Went back in again, using a different email and lottery number as I thought they may say I’d used the email again. Got a flippin message saying I have tried multiply times from the same browser and to try again later. I really would have been happy with 1 voucher

Even though the website did stop working after I had submitted everything I did just get an email with the voucher which was good, glad it worked and I managed to get one. Hope that yours worked too Jacob. Did you get to a confirmation page beyond the 2nd page where you insert your postcode and full name? just stuck loading for me before not going through. A shame !! not the end of the world though I got stuck at the same point (second page, just whirling around). Then it asked me to download something, crashed out, and when I tried again said I had already used the email address Ah well

It seems that vouchers could still come through if you received the ‘cannot use email twice’ page. We’ll have to see

A shame !! not the end of the world though No, I didn't get any kind of confirmation, the website failed to work after clicking submit leaving the page after having filled in my phone number and postcode. After that I couldn't get back on it.

A shame !! not the end of the world though This is similar to what I had - I entered my details and hit “Claim Voucher” and even now the page is still stuck with the loading wheel, the page didn’t crash or anything. I emailed the address that the Theatre Tokens twitter account shared, who have replied to say I have claimed a voucher but to give it an hour or two to come through. We will see what happens and if I do actually get a voucher or not.

I too experienced the page crashing after I put in all my details. But it did eventually show a confirmation page and my voucher has now arrived. The irony is that the voucher I got this time and the one I got last time are about the best financial return I have ever had from the lottery. I have had the same numbers in the draw on Saturdays and Wednesdays for 25 years (we took out the first ticket the day after our now 25 year old son was born). We've never won more than a tenner or a lucky dip! Not moaning about this as I like to think I've helped fund various things but it is nice to get a tangible reward!

It is amazing that these vouchers have been given away. I am very thankful.
Such a fantastic initiative.
Well done Theatre Tokens and the National Lottery 👏

Who are these people who keep getting vouchers and not spending them? I wonder if it is done by amount too. Eg if you got a ticket for something under £25, the change could goes back into the pot after 18 days.

But yes, it’s possible, I know a few seats are available in that price range.

Who are these people who keep getting vouchers and not spending them? I was one, I was really pleased to get a voucher but I've not been anywhere near a theatre in the last 3 weeks. If I had been in London I'd have used it but I'm in the countryside. I absolutely hate phoning people so I was left with the options of the using it to get a ticket online. That limits it, and of those shows, there was nothing I want to see enough to buy a ticket for in the stalls at full price with the £25 off. The shows I'm interested in seeing have day seats or offers where the token can't be used so even with the money off nothing was jumping out. Also I'm currently not sure as to when I'll be able to see anything so I didn't want to risk buying a ticket I'll be unable to use. I hope someone makes good use of it when it's reassigned. I know people were clever and got National Theatre vouchers but I think that might even have involved phoning/ going to the box office. It's not that I didn't try to use it, I looked at so many ideas, considered a children's show for a friend and her son, all sorts, but there really just was nothing I wanted to get with it.

The first two offerings completely passed me by but I was able to get a voucher today - think I was a bit lucky. I guess my many no-match Euromillions tickets weren’t a total waste of money!
The voucher took just under an hour to come through.

When I saw that I had been randomly allocated position 1,600 or so in the queue I thought there was no chance I'd get a voucher but I did. My daughter was allocated a position around about 3,800 and she got a voucher too. We used the two we previously got to buy tickets that we otherwise would not have booked for - and I hope to use my new one in the same spirit.

I read on Twitter they had about £100k of vouchers to give out, so around 4,000. Your daughter was very lucky!

The vouchers via this scheme run out tonight at midnight (or at least mine does). I've just redeemed mine this morning. This is just a reminder in case anyone still has one they haven't used.
