Just caught up with the first 3 episodes, what a cliffhanger to end on! I love the unplugged show/podcast they’re doing now too. The murdered and banished contestants come for a chat and you see when they find out who the traitors are.

Yes, fantastic cliffhanger. The treachery though!
Do I have to wait 3 weeks for the next 3 to drop? 😟

They’re making us wait until they actually air then. But still, 3 a week mean it’ll be finished in a fortnight.
Didn’t like the whole dungeon thing. There’s enough drama from the tension and paranoia between the contestants, especially as it goes on and the faithfuls get whittled down. It doesn’t need any contrived twists from the producers.

There's supposed to eb another twist on Friday. I suppose so it doesn't run exactly as series 1.

I thought the dungeon thing was interesting in so much as it showed how much more wiling people are to talk about people when they are physically not there. Surprised how much I am loving this again. Fast becoming event TV for me.

Paul went too hard too fast and has really dug a hole for himself, hasn’t he? Now he’s turning on Harry, which has revealed both of them to Jaz.

Hated Paul's plaid “Shacket”. Especially with the shorts. I’d have banished him for that alone.

Well that was one of the best hours of reality tv I’ve seen in a very very long time. What a brilliant episode, hats off to the producers and writers.

Wasn’t it though? Tense, macabre, original . I wonder if they filmed it in the daytime in order not to freak the contestants out TOO much. The murder victim kept getting called out for being a “brilliant faithful” but really, were they? They were highly opinionated but totally wrong at multiple round tables.

I know I said I hate when producers mess with things, but that episode was really good. Can’t stand how smug Paul is, so am eagerly awaiting his downfall. Especially good seeing Harry be one step ahead of him.

I never get why The Traitors don't just keep quiet and allow the others to just knock each other out. I know it wouldn't make good TV but if I were a Traitor, I would be just laying low and not raising suspicion.
The application for series 3 is up already and I'm tempted to apply.

Yeah Harry has gone a bit too full on lately, especially last nights. On traitors uncloaked you saw Dianne talking to Miles and she had every traitor wrong, she wasn’t as good as they thought. I think Harry will get found out, I think recruiting at that time was a big mistake, especially it being Andrew. The thing is, they will most likely banish all their suspected traitors who are actually faithful, then get to the final and know there’s at least 1 or 2 traitors. I think they need to recruit again, then Harry needs to get them both out before the final.

I am now team Ross all the way! The wink was amazing, but now he's out to avenge his mum, and I really hope he succeeds.

I'm torn who I want to win. Andrew backstabbing Harry would be a good conclusion but I wouldn't mind the Faithfuls winning as well.

We were teetering over the edge and into hokiness with that whole Traitor’s Monument thing werent we? Harry’s name has finally come up and I reckon him and Andrew will betray each other given the chance. Jaz is going to go in hard on Harry, Evie knows it’s not herself so I think she might put the knife in too. Should be a good final!

I’m fully expecting Andrew to be the only one left and steal it all. People have said if Andrew and Harry both go for each other and one gets banished that it shows that the other is obviously a traitor, but not necessarily. If Harry was the last traitor he still needs to pin the blame on someone, doesn’t mean they are a traitor. But they are in a situation where a traitor HAS to go, as everyone knows there’s still one after zachs murder, but it doesn’t mean there’s 2.
Do you think it would work out that there were literally no traitors in the final episode? For example there was only 1 left at Zack’s murder then they got them out last night?

I don’t think Production would allow that to happen. Someone would have to be recruited or the final would be pointless.
From memory in the final they banish again at round table but after that they take a vote on whether to end the game or play on.
So let’s say Evie gets banished first based on the Ross theory. Jaz would want to play on because he suspects Harry. Mollie would probably vote to end the game because she’s a bit naive Andrew and Harry would vote to end the game and share.
It only takes Andrew to vote to risk it, play on and banish Harry for him to take all the ££.
Having said all of that, I’m pretty sure last year the winner shared the money with everyone who was still in the game at the end anyway so 🤷🏻♂️

I also think 100% Harry is stealing if it’s him and Andrew left.

100% worthy winner. Don’t share the money, you deserve it!

The producers must have been rubbing their hands together. Wonderful drama!

Is it awful to not feel sorry for Mollie? Girl was such a fool for not trusting her gut,

Been a good series, but I thought the last couple of episodes were a little poor. After setting up Ross getting his revenge, only for him to be even worse at being a traitor as he was at finding them, we were then left with the characters that had barely featured through the series. Final episode made up for it though, what a final roundtable.
Poor gullible Mollie. Must be especially gutting having written Harry before changing it. Probably the pressure of the moment, but she should have realised that if Jaz was a traitor he’d vote to end the game and take all the money, not to banish again.

I'm bemused by the reaction that Mollie was hookwinked by Harry, people do realise that the point of the show.

I'm bemused by the reaction that Mollie was hookwinked by Harry, people do realise that the point of the show. But not to the point that even when Jaz is clearly not a traitor, she still voted for him not Harry. That’s not “hoodwinked”, it’s verging on “brainwashed”.

Australia season 2 now on iplayer. I watched it last year, it’s quite a good season whilst also being VERY frustrating to watch. It’s one of those where people will love it or hate it, depending on whose side you’re on. US season 2 is okay so far, they did the funeral episode a lot earlier on. The only problem is it’s full of annoying US reality stars again, so it’s hard to warm to people. New Zealand is coming to iplayer this year too, but I’m hoping for Canada. Not sure if I want to watch Dutch/German versions as they aren’t in English. Not that I have a problem with watching things subtitled, I just think for this show it relies a lot on how people say things.

Absolutely incredible television beginning to end, the production team have completely smashed it. The companion show with the reliably great Ed Gamble was wonderful as well
