Any dates even hinted at please and thank you? Nothing hinted at in the newsletter, just the already announced Coming Spring 2024. Guessing we'll find out when they decide to announce the venue.

Saw the Lesley Manville/Jeremy Irons one, and didn’t like it, so had zero interest in seeing this. But Patricia Clarkson is making me reconsider. She’s always great in anything she shows up in.

Patricia Clarkson is good casting for Mary Tyrone. I think her last West End appearance was in The Elephant Man with Bradley Cooper.

Had a quick look and decided I'm going to wait for offers - also I feel that I've seen this play recently and it is soooo looong - literal title lol. Not sure I want to see it again in a rush.

I've booked in the £85 stalls seats. I'm so conditioned given recent prices that they seemed like a bargain lol!
The booking email is quite annoying, don't know if it has changed recently, but just says thanks for your booking and the booking number, not the actual date and time booked. I know the etickets get sent out at a later date but just seems weird not to have the show details on the confirmation email?

How long 😱😱 I can't remember sorry - it felt very long. It was the 2018 one with Leslie Manville. Maybe 3 hours?

Long Day's Journey is long but it's still shorter than The Iceman Cometh!

Looked online and the last one was 3 hrs 20 mins. Some shows fly by in that time. This is not one of them. I believe I read somewhere that whoever manages the O’Neill estate are very strict about no cuts being made, so expect similar.

I do like Alex Lawther, though it's a long time ahead to book.

Used the last of my much loved and much missed half price O2 theatre tokens to get a decent seat just before opening night.

Oh I’ve bitten the bullet and booked, really just to see Cox. Again I’ve booked an aisle seat just in case

I booked a stalls seat for £85 and felt like a welcome relief given prices I've paid in the West End recently (and even worse after what I spent on Broadway last week). My booking e-mail from Delfont Mackintosh has the date and time listed, so not sure what happened with yours?

You're given a confirmation of booking number, which is in the email subject line. Also says e-ticket will follow at a later date. Usual Delmac email address.

My booking number is in the email subject line but then all my booking details are included in the main email (date, time, seat number etc). Then says e-ticket will follow closer to the performance date.

From Deadline's story on Sarah Snook doing Dorian Gray. My emphasis. If anyone is wavering on seats, it might be worth deciding sooner rather than later.

It’s a long miserable piece. Perfect for the new Cox ( he used to be able to do irony and humour but Succession sucked it out of him)

Nothing about this appeals at all.
It is a long and pretty tedious play, but I have fond memories of Jessica Lange and Lesley Manville in it- that’s enough for me.
